Amazing word play, good flirty punch lines and a dope party beat are all wonderful elements of Young John new number, Elo Baby.
The wicked beat which has a somewhat a Shoki or Makosa feel for every step of the beat is something anybody should like to dance to coupled with the flirty funny jabs from the in form Kizz Daniel.
Kizz who did almost all the part of the singing opened up the song with Elo baby how do you do and the further went ahead to shoot shots at a certain Oluyemisi.
In response to the Kizz’s flatterings, Tiwa takes the role of the lady and give him a reply, if you no get money Olohun mo ma sa (If you dont have money, I would run)
The most influencing element of this song is Kizz’s flows and Tiwa’s word plays. The beat was nice but a lil far off Young John standard, a mid-tempo afro pop percussion with little room to accommodate the zanku folks.
Although a few seconds less than 3 minutes did the song a huge disservice but the dynamics of Tiwa fusing perfectly into all of Kizz’s turn deserves all the accolades.
Tiwa’s you no be my Area fada but you must fight for me, reminded me of uncle Charly boy the area fada.
Young John really did put a lot of passion in this one but 2.47 seconds is too short to savor the hunger. This of course was not the holy water but a lil further than 3 minutes and it might have casted and binded every dance hall and loud speakers.
I’d rate 7/10.
